Moreta is built for everyday merchant QR payments — shops, restaurants, transport, and similar checkout QRs. Utility and biller QR codes are a different format in many countries, and some are not supported yet.
What usually works
- Standard merchant / business QR codes at point of sale in supported countries.
Utility / bill QRs
Depending on the country and biller, a utility QR may use a flow Moreta doesn't support yet. If your scan fails or the app shows an unsupported code:

Try the biller's alternative payment method (bank app, card, or cash).

Take a screenshot of the error.

Contact us via the chat button with the biller name and country — we can confirm whether that format is supported.

Don't assume every QR in your country works the same — merchant QRs and bill QRs are often different standards.
