7-Eleven in Thailand often uses a checkout flow where the cashier scans a QR code on your phone to pull the payment. Moreta is designed for you to scan the merchant's QR — we don't support the reverse direction (cashier scans you) yet.
Thailand availability reminder
Thailand QR is paused for all users since 29 June. Exception: customers with a US or Canada passport can still use business Thai QR where available. See Is Thailand available for QR payments right now?.
Personal ThaiQR is not supported yet.
What to use at 7-Eleven
For 7-Eleven purchases, use cash or a card the store accepts directly until we support that checkout flow.
For other Thai merchants while the market is paused: Thailand QR is unavailable for most users. US or Canada passport holders can still pay business Thai QR where available.
