Access to Full Features To use key features like adding funds, making payments, or accessing higher limits, you must complete identity verification. Without it, your account will remain restricted. 4. How We Verify You Moreta uses Persona to verify your identity. The process is secure and simple, and your information is always protected. - Submit your identity document: You will be asked to take a clear photo of your passport so Persona can validate it. Moreta verifies with a passport only — national ID cards and driver's licences can't be used. - Face and document checks: Persona confirms that your photo matches your document and that the document is genuine. - NFC passport scan: When supported, you will scan the chip in your passport using your phone to complete verification. - Secure handling of your data: Persona encrypts all personal information to keep your details private and protected.

How to Get Verified with Moreta

1. Passport photo Upload or take a clear photo of your passport. Make sure the full page is visible, sharp, and well lit. 2. Take the photo If you choose to take a photo, place your passport flat, use bright even lighting, remove glare, fill the frame, and keep your phone steady. 3. Check details Make sure the information in each box matches your passport exactly. Any mismatch can cause your verification to fail. 4. Add details Enter your full address and phone number, and make sure both are correct before continuing. 5. Thailand users only If you plan to use Moreta in Thailand, complete the passport NFC scan. Without this step, some Thai QR codes will not work. If you won’t use the app in Thailand, you can skip it. 6. Scan passport If you chose the NFC scan, place your phone on the back cover of your passport and hold it still until the chip is read. 7. Take your selfies Follow the on screen steps to take three photos of your face: one front, one left, and one right. 8. Get results Verification typically takes under a minute. Is there a way to verify my identity with a Myanmar ID while residing in Thailand?

At this time, we are not able to verify users with a Myanmar ID when they are residing in Thailand. You'll need to use a different form of identification that is supported in Thailand, such as a passport. Contact support if you need guidance on acceptable identification documents.
