How to Withdraw Funds from Your Moreta Pay Wallet

You can withdraw your funds from the Moreta Pay app to your linked bank account. If you topped up with a card, contact support and we can arrange a refund to your card (see Can I withdraw funds to my debit or credit card?). Depending on where your account is based, you can choose one of the following options:

🇺🇸 Withdraw to a US Bank Account

If you’ve previously deposited using your US bank, you can withdraw directly to the same account.

  • Fee: $1.00 USD + 0.5%

  • Processing time: Up to 2 business days

🇪🇺 Withdraw to a European (SEPA) Bank or 🇬🇧 UK Bank (Faster Payments)

If you’ve deposited from a SEPA or UK account, you can also withdraw back to those accounts.

  • Fee: $1.50 USD + 0.5%

  • Exchange rate: Converted at the mid-market rate to EUR or GBP

  • Processing time: Instant

📱 How to Make a Withdrawal in the App

  1. Update the app: Make sure you have the latest version of Moreta Pay installed.

  2. Open Settings → Transfer or Me → Transfer — both paths work on all devices — then choose Withdrawal.

  3. Add your bank account again if you have migrated to the new Transfers experience. Don't select an old saved entry, as withdrawals to migrated accounts can fail.

  4. Choose the account and enter the amount you’d like to withdraw.

  5. Review the details and fees, then confirm.

You’ll receive a notification once your withdrawal has been processed.

If your withdrawal fails

  • Relink your bank account and try again.

  • Some countries are not supported for withdrawals. If you think this may apply to you, contact support and we will check your account.

  • Still stuck? Contact support with the amount, date, bank name, and a screenshot of the error.

💡 Tips

  • You can only withdraw to bank accounts you’ve previously used to deposit funds — unless you're on the new Transfers experience, which allows any bank account in your own name (see Can I withdraw to a bank account I didn't deposit from?).

  • Double-check your bank details and make sure your account is active.

  • If your withdrawal hasn’t arrived after the expected time, contact us via the chat button in the app.
