By default, for security reasons, you can only withdraw to a bank account you previously used to deposit. The new Transfers experience changes this for many users.
With the new Transfers experience
If you've updated the app and completed onboarding on our new provider, you can withdraw to any bank account — even one you didn't deposit from — as long as:
-
The bank account is in your own name (the name must match), and
-
Your onboarding on the new provider is complete.
How to withdraw
-
Update the app to the latest version.
-
Go to Settings → Transfers → Withdrawal.
-
Add the bank account again — don't reuse an old saved entry, as this can cause errors.
-
Enter the amount, review the details, and confirm.
You'll get a notification once the withdrawal is processed.
If you're not on the new experience yet
You'll still need to withdraw back to a bank account you previously deposited from. Cards (debit, credit, Apple Pay, Google Pay) are not supported for withdrawals.
💡 Tips
-
Withdrawal times: US ACH up to 2 business days; SEPA and UK Faster Payments are instant.
-
If a withdrawal fails and asks you to relink your bank, add the account again and retry. Still stuck? Reach out with a screenshot of the error.
