Before you pay

Update the Moreta app to the latest version from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.

Add money to your Moreta wallet if needed. Your balance is held in USD and converts at the live mid-market rate when you pay in Cambodian riel (KHR).

Check you have enough balance for the purchase plus the 1.5% transaction fee shown on the review screen.
Paying a KHQR merchant

Open Moreta and click Pay.

Scan the merchant's KHQR code at the till, on a sticker, or on their payment terminal.

Enter the amount if it isn't filled in automatically.

Review the merchant name, amount, and the 1.5% transaction fee.

Slide to confirm. Most payments complete within seconds.
If the scan or payment fails

Check you're on the latest app version.

Confirm the QR is a merchant / business KHQR code.
